New  The Rocky Flats Citizens Advisory Board Stewardship Working Group stewardship toolbox, is an analytical matrix designed to help decision-makers ensure that long-term stewardship requirements are thoroughly considered during the remedy selection process. The toolbox is divided into six discrete components of a long-term stewardship analysis which will also become components of a long-term stewardship plan: physical controls; institutional or administrative controls; operational and performance monitoring and maintenance; information management; periodic assessment; and maintenance by a responsible controlling authority. The toolbox lays out a framework for conducting a systematic review of the long-term needs for each of these categories. This document explains how to use the toolbox and explores many of the essential elements of a comprehensive stewardship analysis.

Formerly Utilized Sites Remedial Action Program (FUSRAP) list of 577 site entries
As part of its review of agency records to identify sites for possible inclusion in the Formerly Utilized Sites Remedial Action Program (FUSRAP), the Department of Energy (DOE) compiled an internal working list in 1995 of 577 site entries that date back to the Manhattan Engineer District (MED). The MED is the original precursor to the Atomic Energy Commission (AEC), the Energy Research and Development Administration (ERDA) and the DOE. The FUSRAP review sought to identify sites that may have been involved in nuclear weapons and nuclear energy related activities and determine which of these sites would require environmental cleanup. This list, available on the EM Home Page at http://csd.apps.em.doe.gov/, reflects a snapshot of the records related to these sites that were reviewed when this list was developed.
